Zedra acquires Cayman business

Posted: 03/12/2018

Trust, corporate and fund services provider Zedra has acquired the JP Integra Group, a Cayman-based provider of fund, corporate and trustee services.

With assets under administration in excess of $6bn, JP Integra specialises in assisting international private, institutional and sovereign clients with all aspects of structuring and operating structures for joint ventures, wealth management, asset protection and collective investments.

The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to complete in the first half of 2019, substantially increases Zedra’s structuring and administrative services. The firm already has an office in Cayman, and on completion of the transaction JP Integra will be rebranded and the team fully integrated into Zedra.

Peter Cockhill, CEO and Group General Counsel of JP Integra, will be the Managing Director of the combined office and the Directors of Zedra and JP Integra will remain in their current roles.

"This acquisition represents a significant step forward in strengthening our capabilities and client service in Cayman," commented Niels Nielsen, Zedra Group CEO.
