IQ-EQ has appointed Tonia Leigh-Morgan as its new Head of Private Wealth for Guernsey.
Tonia has been with the group for more than 20 years, taking on a range of senior positions during this time.
Having begun her career as a lawyer, dual-qualified as an English barrister and Guernsey Advocate, she spent five years in private practice before moving into fiduciary services in 2003 to become in-house counsel for Mercator Trust Company – one of the legacy businesses that now stands as IQ-EQ Guernsey.
After ascending to Group Legal Counsel, she moved into client service in 2018 and has since held the position of Client Services Director within IQ-EQ’s Guernsey Private Wealth team, responsible for high-value, complex trust and corporate structures.
In her new role, Tonia will oversee IQ-EQ’s team of private wealth specialists on the island and will join the local leadership team as well as the global leadership team of IQ-EQ’s Private and Institutional Asset Owners service segment.
