Ahead of launching its presence in the Isle of Man later this week, TISE (The International Stock Exchange – formerly CISE) has appointed Carolyn Gelling as its Head of Isle of Man Office, effective from the start of May.
Carolyn will join TISE from Thomas Miller Investment, where she has been a Director with responsibility for the management and development of the group’s investment funds business in the Isle of Man and UK.
She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and a Chartered Wealth Manager, with 20 years of industry experience.
A technical investment manager by training, more latterly her focus has been on corporate governance and business and strategic development for investment businesses and funds, spanning private client and structures, institutional clients and funds in the UK and international jurisdictions.
Carolyn is a past Chairman of the Isle of Man Wealth & Fund Services Association, and continues as a Committee Member and Life Member, and has served as a Committee Member of the Isle of Man Branch of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
