As part of European Cyber Security Month, Jersey’s Chief Minister’s Department is hosting a free-to-attend cyber security workshop on 27 October at the Pomme D’Or Hotel.
The morning workshop, starting at 9am, will highlight the Jersey government’s approach to cyber security, certification and information sharing.
The event will include:
• Overview of government plans – Senator Paul Routier, Assistant Chief Minister
• Introduction to Cyber Essentials, a UK-government-backed cyber security certification scheme and the States of Jersey’s recommended minimum standard, and the benefits of accreditation – Jamie Randall, IASME Consortium
• Launch of the States of Jersey’s approach to promoting cyber security information sharing
