Standard Bank Wealth International has added to its Executive Committee with the appointment of Marina Buckley (pictured) as Chief Operating Officer, Wealth International, based in Jersey.
The senior leadership team guides the business strategy and manages the day-to-day operations of the bank, which is owned by Standard Bank Group, the largest bank in Africa by assets.
Marina has more than 25 years’ experience in the financial services sector, including several periods with Standard Bank. Most recently, she has served as Chief Operating Officer, Products & Services at the bank.
Her Jersey-based career has also included experience with Minerva Trust & Corporate Services, State Street, Merrill Lynch and RBS.
Marina's move follows three other appointments to the Executive Committee at the start of this year – Mia Canavan as Head of Compliance and Gemma Steele as Head of Marketing.
