London lawyer Lydia Essa has joined the board of Trust Corporation International as a Trust Director, from boutique private client law firm Maurice Turnor Gardner.
Lydia relocated to Guernsey last year with her family. A law graduate from Cambridge, she was a Senior Associate in the private client department at Allen & Overy in London for five years before joining the private wealth team at Maurice Turnor Gardner in 2009.
Whilst in private practice, Lydia focused on the design, implementation and administration of complex offshore asset holding structures with multi-jurisdictional asset bases, complex financing arrangements and diverse personal and business interests.
She has also been involved in a number of high-profile contentious trust and probate matters.
