Amy BenstedThis Wednesday, Preqin, the alternative assets industry’s leading source of data and intelligence, will be hosting a special seminar on the global alternative assets industry and where the Channel Islands sit in that landscape.

Using their own data, which encompasses over 25,000 alternative asset managers and institutional investors, Preqin will look at the big picture in the alternative assets industry today, and examine the whats and whys that are driving innovation and change in 2017.

They will answer questions such as:
• Which products are getting the attention of institutional investors in 2017?
• How are fund managers and investors positioning themselves for the, as yet unclear, impacts of Brexit?
• Where do the Channel Islands sit in the alternative assets landscape
• How have they fared as the alternative asset sector has grown?

Amy Bensted (pictured), Head of Hedge Funds at Preqin, and Tom Carr, Head of Real Assets Products, will present the seminar, which takes place from 9.30-10.30 on Wednesday 27 September at the Radisson Blu Hotel in St Helier.
