Pinel Advocates has recruited James Mews as Counsel within its Jersey-based team. In his new role he will give advice on banking, regulatory and other legal matters.
James joins from the States of Jersey, where he was Director of the Finance Industry Development team. Before this, he spent three years as Senior Counsel at the Jersey Financial Services Commission.
Earlier in his career, James spent time with the European Commission and with international legal services firm Mayer Brown.
