Ogier has announced two promotions in its private wealth team in Guernsey – Alice Bricogne to Counsel and Chris Hards to Managing Associate.
Alice advises family offices, trust companies and high-net-worth individuals on the creation, administration and restructuring of trusts and foundations, and advises on contentious and regulatory matters.
Prior to joining Ogier in 2017, she was a Barrister and Associate Tenant at 2 Bedford Row in London, appearing in courts throughout England as well as in the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland.
Chris, a specialist in international trusts, tax and pensions, previously worked at Stephenson Harwood in London, before moving to Guernsey in 2016 to work for Appleby. He joined Ogier in 2017.
Chris advises on trust and foundation law to individuals, fiduciaries and other service providers, and has experience advising on wills and probate, international pensions and the application of UK taxation to offshore individuals, corporates and trust structures.
