Katherine Hitchins has joined BabbÉ as a Consultant in the Corporate and Commercial team.
Katherine brings more than 13 years’ experience as in-house counsel for investment banks in both Europe and Asia, and specialises in corporate markets, dealing with investment and structured products, debt and asset financing, derivatives, commodities and regulatory investigations.
Most recently, she was an Executive Director and Assistant General Counsel for JPMorgan Chase Bank in Singapore. Prior to JPMorgan, Katherine was a Director for Lehman Brothers in London and held in-house counsel roles at both Rabobank and Dresdner Bank. She originally trained and qualified at Ashurst.
In her new role, Katherine is responsible for establishing and nurturing a strong banking expertise within the Corporate and Commercial team, enabling BabbÉ to provide a full suite of legal advice to both financial and corporate clients. This includes banks or financial institutions looking for specific banking or regulatory advice, or fund or corporate clients looking to better understand banking products or improve their borrowing arrangements with banks.
