Private bank Julius Baer has appointed Stephen Burt as Branch Manager and Jon Burrows as Chief Risk Officer in the Guernsey office.
Stephen will now lead Julius Baer’s Guernsey team, having been promoted from Chief Risk Officer and interim Branch Manager.
Since joining the business in 2005, he has served in a number of technical and client-facing roles within the bank’s Guernsey branch. During a 36-year banking career, he has held management positions in London, Guernsey and Singapore.
Jon has been promoted from the role of Deputy Chief Risk Officer in Guernsey, a position he has held for the past five years.
A specialist in compliance and regulation, he is a fellow of the International Compliance Association. His career, which started in 1994, has included a period at the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.
