Fund, corporate and private wealth services provider JTC has appointed Tony Whitney (pictured right) as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and promoted Jonathan Jennings to Group Head of Institutional Client Services (ICS).
Tony, who is based in Jersey, takes on the CCO role, a new Group Holdings Board position, after 22 years at JTC. He previously held Jonathan’s new role, Group Head of ICS, but remains Managing Director of JTC’s Jersey office, a position he has held since 2015.
Tony will work with the firm's institutional and private client divisions on client services, organic growth strategies and identifying opportunities for service enhancement and efficiency. He will also work alongside CEO Nigel Le Quesne, CFO Martin Fotheringham and the development team on M&A activity.
Meanwhile, Jonathan (pictured left), who is based in London, will continue in his previous role as Managing Director of JTC UK but takes on his additional ICS role and joins the Group Holdings Board alongside Tony.
As Group Head of ICS, Jonathan has responsibility for the strategic development and performance of JTC’s global funds and corporate business lines.
He joined JTC in London in 2018, having spent the previous 10 years in senior roles within Dominion Fiduciary and TMF in Jersey and Luxembourg.
