Jersey Water has appointed two Non-Executive Directors to its board – Donna Abel, Chief Executive Officer of Jersey Cheshire Home, and Jo Dow (pictured far right), Chief Executive of Scottish Water Business Stream.
Donna and Jo were elected to the board at Jersey Water’s annual general meeting on 22 March.
Donna has led Jersey Cheshire Home since October 2020. Prior to this, she held senior HR roles with Garonne Group and the Channel Islands Co-operative Society, where she spent 20 years.
Jo has served as CEO at Business Stream for eight years. She also acts as a board member of the Central Market Agency and the Scotland advisory board of Business in the Community.
Daragh McDermott, an NED at the utility since 2016, stands down this month due to his commitments as CEO of JT Group.
