Jersey Finance has launched a publication showcasing Jersey’s commercial and cultural connections with the US.
The publication – Jersey for US Fund Managers – has been released alongside a video promoting Jersey to legal and financial service providers in the US, particularly in the funds sector.
It will be shared with US contacts, promoted in social media activity and distributed by Philip Pirecki, Jersey Finance's business development lead in New York, once meetings and events resume.
The report includes contributions from several member firms about recent US business, as well as pieces on links between Jersey and the US away from the world of finance – including the origin of the name ‘New Jersey’; emigration from Jersey to New England in the 17th century; Digital Jersey’s growing links with US research institutions; and Jersey cattle in the US.
