Jersey Chamber names new Vice President

Jennifer CarnegieJennifer Carnegie has been named the Jersey Chamber of Commerce's new Vice President. 

Jennifer currently serves as a Director of leadership consultancy Amicus, prior to which she spent the previous 20 years working for international corporations. 

She has been the Chief People Officer for global telecommunications and entertainment provider Digicel, has managed manufacturing facilities with large numbers of people, is an industrial engineer and was instrumental in creating and running a global corporate university for Mars Incorporated.

In addition to Amicus, Jennifer is on the boards of the Channel Islands Cooperative Society and Jersey Business and is a Jersey Appointments Commissioner. Jennifer and her family have moved back to Jersey after living in Jamaica, Bermuda, South Africa, Germany and the UK.

The post of President and Vice President, as with the 70 Members siting on Chamber committees are voluntary non-paid roles, supported by a small executive team.

Jennifer takes over from Mark Cox. She will be Vice President until May and will then become President for the next two years.
