GeorgeRomeril_Isle-fly_aug20Jersey-based private air charter firm Isle-Fly has appointed George Romeril (pictured) as First Officer.

After an early career in Jersey, George began his commercial pilot training with Oxford Aviation Academy, moving on to Arizona and then to London.

He started at Isle-Fly a year ago as Operations Officer. Then the company sent him to Florida to complete his training on the King Air B250GT, one of Isle-Fly’s main aircraft. He is now a First Officer for that aircraft.

Paul Sabin, Isle-Fly's Director of Flight Operations, commented: “The airline industry has suffered greatly during the Covid-19 pandemic. However,  we have continued to be busy, flying as far north as the Faroe Islands and as far south as Ibiza, chartering flights to Sion down the Rhone Valley and 11 other European countries.”
