The Institute of Directors' Guernsey Branch has announced details of its next Winter Seminar, taking place next month.
The lunch event, which will be held on 4 February at 12.15 pm at the Old Government House Hotel in St Peter Port, will explore how Guernsey’s digital vision can become a reality.
In June last year, the States of Guernsey embarked on a 10-year partnership with digital technology specialist Agilisys to transform the island’s public services. JT was selected to help deliver the programme and signed a partnership agreement at the end of November 2019.
During the seminar, Richard Hanrahan, Chief Executive of Agilisys Guernsey, will share an overview of the partnership and the opportunities digital can bring.
He will then join a panel session with colleagues from Agilisys; Paul Taylor, JT Managing Director in Guernsey; and Meriel Lenfestey, IoD Guernsey’s lead on digital connectivity. The panel will be moderated by IoD Guernsey branch committee member Jennifer Strachan.
The lunch will close with a chance for business leaders to quiz the panel.
