Intertrust has promoted Kristian Walton to Deputy Global Head of Risk and Compliance.
Kristian is based in Jersey and has direct oversight of Jersey, Guernsey, the UK, Ireland, Hong Kong, Singapore and China.
He also has a wider remit across Intertrust's 30 other jurisdictions as a member of the senior risk and compliance management team.
Kristian is responsible for applying stringent levels of regulatory compliance across the group, including meeting international standards, the use and maintenance of risk assessments and compliance with data protection and information security management legislation.
He joined Intertrust in 2016 as Group Risk and Compliance Director, before which he worked at Elian and Coutts &Co.
