Intertrust has announced the appointment of Ian Rumens as Global Head of Private Wealth Services, based in the Jersey office.
Ian has been part of Intertrust's private wealth team, serving as Director, since the acquisition of Elian in 2016.
He joined Elian in 2009 from Ogier, prior to which he spent six years as an English solicitor in London.
At Intertrust, Ian will focus on expanding Intertrust’s client base among the wealthy families and high-net-worth individuals.
He will lead an international team within the private wealth business to deliver services to entrepreneurial individuals with cross-jurisdictional requirements.
