Fairway_Caroline DutotFairway Group’s trust business has added Advocate Caroline Dutot to its board as part of a scheme organised by Board Apprentice, a not-for-profit organisation founded in Jersey in 2014 to add equality and diversity in company boards.

Caroline has spent the past three and a half years as an Advocate at Ardent Chambers, and the previous two years at Davies & Ingram. Prior to this she was a Senior Manager within the Jersey Financial Services Commission and has also worked for the Attorney General in Jersey. She advises on contractual, licensing, regulatory and employment matters.

Caroline is currently Vice Chair of the Chamber Connection Committee of the Jersey Chamber of Commerce and a member of Jersey’s Dispute Resolution Board.

Her appointment at Fairway adds to the firm's female board representation of 40% and its 66% female workforce.

Board Apprentice founder Charlotte Valeur, who was recently appointed Chair of the Institute of Directors, commented: “I am delighted Fairway Group has agreed to be a host board and take their first Board Apprentice on board. The more we have of companies and boards taking an active part in upskilling our talent, the better for everybody in Jersey.”
