Jersey law firm Dickinson Gleeson has appointed Advocate Guillaume Staal as a Partner.
Previously a Senior Associate within the firm’s litigation department, Advocate Staal has been promoted to the partnership eight years after joining Dickinson Gleeson.
His principal areas of expertise are in trust and commercial litigation, and he advises clients on contractual disputes, enforcement of foreign judgments and associated freezing and disclosure orders and insolvency matters. He is also regularly instructed in relation to employment and probate matters.
Before joining Dickinson Gleeson, Guillaume spent almost six years in Jersey's Law Officers Department, providing advice to the States of Jersey and governmental departments on a range of issues, including human rights law, European law and constitutional law.
