Channel Islands’ social entrepreneurs invited to join Lloyds Bank programme

Posted: 21/04/2017

The Lloyds Bank Social Entrepreneurs Programme, in partnership with the School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE), is open for Channel Islands applications for the first time.

It is looking for individuals starting up and running organisations that have a social and environmental impact to join its programme.

The programme provides entrepreneurs tackling social issues within their community with financial support (grants of up to £10,000), a comprehensive learning programme with the SSE and a dedicated business mentor from Lloyds Banking Group to start and grow their own business.

The Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland Social Entrepreneurs Programme, in partnership with SSE, has committed to supporting 2,600 social entrepreneurs by 2022.

The Lloyds Bank Foundation for the Channel Islands is offering financial support for travel costs to all successful applicants, as they will need to complete the programme in the UK. Successful applicants will have all their costs covered.
