Chamber of Commerce lunch to focus on economy

Posted: 27/04/2017

At the upcoming Jersey Chamber of Commerce lunch in May, Stephen Blackman, Principal Economist at RBS, will give his view on the economic outlook and global environment, with an additional focus on local economic issues.

He will consider the impact of Brexit, a snap UK election, rising inflation and unpredictable European politics on the global and local economies. How will commerce in Jersey be affected, and is it possible to predict, prepare and profit from what is to come?

During his career, Stephen Blackman has worked as an academic and as an economic adviser to the UK government. He currently advises RBS on commercial strategy arising from emerging economic trends.

The event will take place on Wednesday 10 May at the Radisson Blu Hotel, and will be preceded by the Chamber AGM from 11am. To book tickets, please click here
