Carey Olsen has been named Best Offshore Law Firm, in the Guernsey, Jersey and Isle of Man category, at the inaugural Wealth Adviser Awards in London in March.
The Wealth Adviser Awards were established this year to bring together the leaders in global wealth management and to celebrate the accomplishments of the highest performing managers, advisers and service providers in 2012.
Wealth Adviser's 15,000 subscribers around the world vote for those service providers in private banks, independent financial advice providers, family offices, wealth management, fund management, taxation, trust, legal, accounting and technology firms.
The voters decided that Carey Olsen, which has expanded its presence over the last 12 months to include the British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands, adding to its established offices in Guernsey, Jersey and London, demonstrated excellence in legal services and a firm grasp of challenging issues, including growing regulatory demands, while focusing on generating results for investors.
