Carey Olsen has promoted seven lawyers, including four new Counsels – Christopher Griffin from the Jersey corporate team; Stephen Fitzgerald from the Jersey trusts and private wealth team; David Jones from the Guernsey dispute resolution practice; and Elizabeth Killeen from the recently opened Singapore office.
Christopher (pictured) has broad experience of general international corporate and funds work, specialising in private equity and hedge funds. He previously spent 10 years in the City at Ashurst, RAB Capital and SJ Berwin (now KWM).
Stephen joined Carey Olsen in 2000 and has a broad non-contentious trust practice that also includes aspects of share/cash-based employee incentives and pensions.
David joined Carey Olsen in 2010 and advises on business restructuring and insolvency in contentious, non-contentious and multi-jurisdictional matters.
And Elizabeth joined Carey Olsen's British Virgin Islands office as a Senior Associate in 2014 and moved to the Singapore office in October 2015.
Meanwhile, Katherine Tresca (pictured) and Sharon Mallet have been promoted to Senior Associate in the firm's Jersey corporate and property teams respectively.
Katherine joined Carey Olsen in 2010 and works on a range of corporate and commercial matters – especially mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings and private equity investments – while Sharon is an English solicitor and joined Carey Olsen in 1997. Her broad practice covers residential and commercial property matters, including leases and property lendings.
Finally, Nichola Aldridge has been promoted to Associate in the Jersey trusts and private wealth practice. She joined Carey Olsen's trusts and private wealth practice in 2013 and acts for Channel Islands trust businesses, private trust companies and family offices, with a focus on non-contentious matters.
