Carey Olsen has appointed Sam Dawson as Partner in its Cayman Islands dispute resolution and insolvency practice.
Sam previously spent 10 years with Solomon Harris, having qualified and worked in New Zealand before moving to the Cayman Islands in 2006. He specialises in complex cross-border commercial financial litigation and has expertise in insolvency and restructuring.
He is a member of INSOL International and the American Bankruptcy Institute and chairs the Legal and Regulatory Committee of the Restructuring and Insolvency Specialists Association Cayman.
Sam is also a Law Society representative on the Users Committee for the Financial Services Division of the Grand Court.
