Brooks Macdonald Group has named Caroline Connellan as its new Group Chief Executive Officer. She will take over in April 2017, subject to regulatory approvals.
Caroline has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services, most recently as Head of UK Premier and Wealth at HSBC, where she led the transformation of the UK Wealth business.
Prior to this, she held senior corporate roles, including Group Strategy Director at Standard Life, and has broad experience of the wealth and asset management sector as a consultant at McKinsey.
Current Brooks Macdonald Chief Executive Chris Macdonald, who is also the group’s co-founder, will remain with the firm as Deputy Chairman. Subject to shareholder approval, he will then take on the role of Chairman in the future.
