Barclays appoints Guernsey Country Manager

Simon PhillipsSimon Phillips has been appointed Guernsey Country Manager for Barclays. He will take up the post this month, as Ken Bradley leaves, having held the role for the past eight years.
 
Simon currently manages the captive insurance and family office propositions for Barclays in the Channel Islands.

He will be moving to the Guernsey office to take overall responsibility for the development of Barclays in the island and will continue to lead the captives team alongside his new role.
 
Simon joined the bank in 2006. Earlier in his career he built up experience in the banking, family office, captive insurance and institutional sectors, working with Royal Bank of Scotland in London, the Isle of Man and Jersey.
