Winners of Citywealth Magic Circle Awards announced

ElaineGraham_CitywealthawardsThe Citywealth Magic Circle Awards, held in London last night, recognised the achievements of a number of individuals and businesses based in the Channel Islands.
 
Guernsey-based Elaine Graham, Head of Employer Solutions for Zedra, was named Woman of the Year, while Lisa Vizia, Director of Saffery Champness and leader of the firm’s family office team in Guernsey, won the Trustee of the Year Award.

In addition, several firms based in, or with offices in, the Channel Islands won awards:
• Accountancy Firm of the Year, Large – BDO
• Accountancy Firm of the Year – Rawlinson & Hunter
• Tax Advisory Firm of the Year – Rawlinson & Hunter
• Financial Advisory Firm of the Year – Cazenove Capital                                                                                                           
• Private Wealth Manager of the Year – Smith & Williamson
• Private Client Asset Manager of the Year, Institutional – Rathbone Investment Management
• Private Investment Office of the Year – Stonehage Fleming
• Trust Company of the Year, Independent – Zedra
• Trust Company of the Year, Institutional – R&H Trust
• Investment Monitoring and Consulting Company of the Year – Asset Risk Consultants
• Family Office of the Year – Crestbridge
• Technology Vendor of the Year – Suggestus (powered by Asset Risk Consultants) 

The awards, now in their 12th year, recognise the best wealth managers and advisers in the private wealth sector, in particular those who invest money in charities, private families and foundations.

In July 2016, wealth management organisations were invited to submit entries to highlight developments from the past year. In October, 10 judges met to draw up the shortlist. The contest also included a period of online voting, with more than 12,000 votes from charities, peers and private clients. The popular opinion results are then shared with the judges before final voting takes place.
