Christopher Reed has been promoted from Senior Counsel to Group Partner within law firm Walkers' Jersey Investment Funds & Corporate Group.
Christopher assists a broad range of clients, including international corporations, private equity investors, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, investment managers, sponsors and administrators on fund investment and regulatory matters.
He advises on all stages in the lifecycle of a fund, from structuring through to establishment, acquisitions, divestments and termination, as well as more general corporate and commercial matters.
Christopher joined Walkers in February 2018, after almost three years with Mourant Ozannes as a Senior Associate. His earlier career included work in Moscow for Latham & Watkins and Allen & Overy, having trained in London.
Walkers has also announced two further Channel Islands appointments – Louise Hamilton, to Senior Counsel in the Finance & Corporate Group in Jersey, and Victoria Pratt, to Senior Counsel in the Employment Group in Guernsey.
