Wake up call for small business owners in Guernsey

Posted: 07/08/2013

Wake up call for small business owners in GuernseyGuernsey's newest - and most relaxed - business breakfast club has been created. Its aim is to fill the gap for informal networking for the self-employed and small business owner on the island, and is the brainchild of two small business owners: Anne Richardson (Guernsey P.A.), and Julie Todd (Todd and Associates).

The Rise and Shine Breakfast Club is supported by the Guernsey Chamber of Commerce, which endorses the Rise and Shine ethos of down to earth and relaxed networking within the small business community.

Co-owner Anne Richardson commented "By coming along to the Breakfast Club you will meet other like-minded, positive and proactive people who want to find a new way of doing business. You will also share the unique experiences that only the self-employed and small business owner can encounter. Unlike other clubs there is no joining fee, no monthly payments and no restrictions. All we charge is £10 for a delicious breakfast and some great networking in a fun and relaxed manner."

The first of these monthly networking events takes place from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at MUSE Cafe, St Peter Port, on Tuesday 10 September.
