Tim Rattray has been named as the new Managing Director of Vantage Insurance Brokers.
Previously Managing Director of Rossborough Insurance in the Isle of Man, Tim has relocated to Jersey to lead the insurance broking division of Vantage.
In his new role, he specialises in advising on and placing professional indemnity, directors’ and officers’ liability and cyber risks cover for offshore financial institutions such as investment managers, fund administrators and corporate/trust service providers.
Tim has over 30 years' experience in the insurance industry. He started his career in the Isle of Man, working for an independent brokerage. He then relocated to London, where he spent 15 years working for brokers including Oval and Jardine Lloyd Thompson, dealing with insurance programmes for mainly FTSE 250 companies.
Tim relocated to the Isle of Man in June 2005 to open an insurance brokerage for Channel Islands group Rossborough, a position he held for 12 years before moving to Vantage.
