Shortlist for IoD Jersey Director of the Year announced

The Jersey branch of the Institute of Directors (IoD) has announced a 25-strong shortlist of individuals for the ninth annual search to find the top leaders across Jersey’s private, public and voluntary sectors.

The winners of the 2018 Jersey Director of the Year Awards will be announced at a black-tie awards dinner on Friday 27 April at the Hotel de France.

Designed to celebrate strong leadership and recognise excellence across the business community and public sector, the Awards this year will feature a number of new categories. The 2018 shortlist is as follows:

The panel of judges for this year’s Awards is chaired by Lesley Harrison (Head of HR and Marketing, Sandpiper) and also includes Tim Crowley (Managing Director, La Mare Wine Estate), Monique O’Keefe (Co-Founder, Kairos Wealth) and Paul Savery (Managing Director, Barclays).

Chris Clark, IoD Jersey Chairman, said: "This year’s Awards are an evolution of our flagship initiative, conceived to better reflect the capabilities and value our leaders in Jersey bring to their organisations and the wider community. Once again, we’ve got a really strong shortlist and our Awards dinner in April should be a fantastic occasion."
