Channel Islands creative and digital agency Oi has won a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) award for its Visit Jersey summer 360° campaign.
The organisation picked up the prize for Best Brand Building Campaign for SMEs at the recent CIM Marketing Excellence Awards in London.
Launched last May, alongside the new Visit Jersey brand and website, the campaign claimed to be the first UK-focused virtual reality tourism activity of its kind.
It featured 10 360° videos of Jersey, produced by Oi and marketed through social media, online display advertising, on-demand video advertising, direct mail and email.
Other Jersey organisations were also honoured at the event. In the Best Partnership Marketing Campaign category, Prison! Me! No way!!! in partnership with the States of Jersey, Build a Safer Society Department and Freedom Media were Highly Commended for their multi-agency campaign to raise awareness of the effects of legal highs.
