Ogier has promoted Sandie Lyne from Senior Associate to Partner within its dispute resolution team in Guernsey.
Sandie, who joined Ogier in 2014, is a Guernsey Advocate with extensive experience in commercial and financial dispute resolution, especially contentious trusts, restructuring, insolvency, and regulatory matters.
She regularly advises in connection with complex and high-value international matters with multi-jurisdictional elements – she acted in the restructuring of Ocean Rig, one of the highest value restructurings on record, during a secondment to Ogier's Cayman office.
Prior to joining Ogier, Sandie practised as a Solicitor in London for firms including Hamlins and Pennington Manches Cooper.
Sandie's promotion brings Ogier's partnership in Guernsey to 12, with 72 partners globally.
