Ogier has announced the promotion of two of its senior lawyers – Bryan de Verneuil-Smith and Paul Chanter (pictured far right) – who have become Partners within its Guernsey team.
Bryan is now the third Partner in the Guernsey Dispute Resolution team. He joined the firm in January 2019 as a Managing Associate, having previously worked for Babbé, and has a wide practice that includes trusts, insolvency, investment fund disputes and property disputes.
As a Guernsey Advocate, he appears regularly before the Royal Court.
Paul, who has been with the firm for six years, becomes a Partner in Ogier's Guernsey Banking and Finance team, having served as Managing Associate for the past three years. He advises a broad range of clients in respect of complex finance-related work.
