Posted: 05/07/2017

Liberation and New Street DirectorsIndependent trust and corporate fiduciary service provider New Street Management has acquired Liberation Management in Guernsey.

Following the acquisition, which has received regulatory consent from the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, Liberation’s Guernsey-based employees will remain with the business and join the New Street Management team in their Les Echelons offices.

Liberation Director Bruce Currie will join the board at New Street Management.

New Street Management, an owner-managed business, was founded in 2014. The acquisition will increase its employee count to 30 and aims to consolidate the company’s fiduciary services offering.

Liberation also has offices in Luxembourg and the Netherlands, but the Luxembourg and Dutch offices will be unaffected by the New Street Management acquisition.

Simon Graham, Managing Director of New Street Management, commented: “Growth is necessary to meet the challenges of servicing our clients’ complex structures throughout Europe, the Middle East, South America and the Far East, as well as being able to meet the increased regulatory and reporting requirements that face the financial services sector.”
