Digital Jersey has made two new appointments – with Gwyn Garfield-Bennett joining the organisation as Head of Marketing and Communications, and Chris Knight as Development Officer.
Gwyn (pictured) is an experienced media professional, having worked for ITN and BBC in London and Jersey, as well as on newspapers, magazines, and in PR. She recently founded Jersey Coders, a teenage coding club.
In her new role as a key member of the management team, Gwyn will be responsible for building on the ongoing dialogue within the digital and wider communities, raising awareness, and ensuring Digital Jersey’s message is well communicated.
Chris has implemented successful sales campaigns and managed complex data solutions for high-profile financial clients at Jersey Post, he specialises in marketing and business development.
Chris will be responsible for ensuring the organisation works alongside industry and government to implement digital strategies. He also brings with him considerable cross-sector experience having managed projects and relationships for the States of Jersey, including cyber security and the Channel Islands Regulatory Authority.
