The Jersey Financial Services Commission has announced its next series of sector-specific webinar series, designed to cover the findings and recommendations of October's National Risk Assessment report.
The following webinars are scheduled for 2021:
• Investment business – 20 January
• Accountants – 17 February
• Lawyers – 17 March
Registration details will be circulated two weeks prior to each event's scheduled date.
The hour-long webinars will be hosted by Caroline Morgan, the Commission's International and Industry Engagement Coordinator, who will be joined by a JFSC colleague and an industry representative from the original assessment working group.
The webinars will cover:
• What the National Risk Assessment means for these sectors in terms of risks/threats/relevant vulnerabilities
• What action the JFSC will be taking following the assessment
• What action it expects these businesses to be taking
• What this means for interactions with the JFSC.
