Jersey small businesses urged to go digital at Enterprise Week event

Posted: 12/05/2017

Jersey small business owners can hear how other local businesses are benefiting from innovative technologies at an Enterprise Week event at the Hub on 16 May.

A collaboration between Digital Jersey, Jersey Business and Jersey Chamber of Commerce, this free-to-attend event – Three Technologies for Small Business Success – will examine the impact of online booking, contactless payment and cloud-based bookkeeping.

The event shows how these technologies have been applied. It features speakers from businesses in a range of industries, as well as on-island service providers that have helped them use the technology:
• Natalie Duffy, owner of the Salty Dog
• Rory Lapidus, owner of R Fresh
• Nobby Martins, CEO of CityPay
• Alex Morel, Managing Director of ALX Training
• Luke Smith, Director of Purpose.je

The event will be hosted by Digital Jersey CEO Tony Moretta, who will lead Q&A sessions after each presentation. Attendees will also have the chance to see live demonstrations of the technologies.
