Professional services firm EY has been appointed as an expert partner to speed up delivery of the government of Jersey’s digital modernisation and change agenda.
The 15-month contract is worth £2.2 million, which includes the cost of the contract and other related costs.
EY will develop an organisational structure for modernisation and digital, establish a corporate portfolio management office, create a digital strategy for the whole of the public service and identify the common technology needs and capabilities across the organisation to maximise efficiencies.
As an integral part of the modernisation and digital transformation team, EY will also work with States of Jersey employees to develop skills that will ensure the improvements made are sustainable over the long term.
