Progress on public sector reform and the challenges ahead for Jersey's government and business sector will come under the spotlight at the inaugural IoD Jersey Mid-Year Review next month.
The Chief Minister Senator Ian Gorst and the States of Jersey's newly appointed Chief Executive, Charlie Parker, will outline their visions for Jersey's public sector and discuss the opportunities and challenges for Jersey.
The moderater, IoD Jersey Chairman Chris Clark, will question Senator Gorst and Charlie Parker about progress made on points raised at the IoD Annual Debate last September – including establishing a coherent population policy, articulating a long-term sustainable tax system and investing in skills and education locally and off-island.
