ICSA: The Governance Institute confirmed the winners of this year's ICSA Guernsey Awards at a ceremony at the Old Government House Hotel earlier this month.
The winners of the awards, set up to recognise the achievements of the island’s professionals and businesses in terms of good governance, included the following:
• Company Secretary of the Year – Matt Falla, Praxis Fund Services
• Corporate Services Team of the Year – Carey Commercial
• Corporate Services Officer of the Year – Gwenllian Sanders, Intertrust
• Governance, Risk and Compliance Award – Angela Law, Intertrust
• The One to Watch – Gwendolyn Norman, Praxis Fund Services
Sara Bourne, ICSA Guernsey Branch Chair, commented: "Once again, the judges had a very difficult task in selecting the winners. Guernsey is a centre of excellence for corporate governance, as evidenced by the fact that Guernsey is home to the largest number of companies listed on the London Stock Exchange outside the UK.
"In order to maintain this position, the quality of service and level of expertise that Guernsey’s governance professionals provides is vital. We are delighted to recognise the accomplishments of our members with these awards."
