Guernsey Finance has confirmed the full-time appointment of Andy Sloan as Deputy Chief Executive, Strategy.
Andy has been Acting Director of Strategy on part-time secondment from the Guernsey Financial Services Commission for the past nine months.
He now joins permanently to oversee development of jurisdiction-wide financial services strategy through Guernsey Finance, in line with the role set out in the Committee for Economic Development’s Economic Vision.
Andy's career has previously included two years as an economics lecturer at the University of Hull, as well as five years as Head of Policy and Research within the States of Guernsey.
He has most recently served at Director of Financial Stability & International Policy Adviser at the Guernsey Financial Services Commission since 2014.
