Fairway Group has appointed Aslam Shareef as its new Head of Funds.
Aslam joins the firm from EFG Fund Services and prior to that, he spent almost three years as Funds Supervision Manager at the Jersey Financial Services Commission. Before this he was responsible for a fund administration department at Dominion.
His experience of the offshore funds industry extends to Saudi Arabia and India, where earlier in his career he completed his training with Deloitte and EY respectively. He specialises in private equity funds and real estate funds.
Aslam will lead the funds department of Fairway Group, working closely with CEO Louise Bracken-Smith and the existing funds team.
