Cyber risk company launches in Guernsey

Posted: 03/11/2020

Cyber risk company CentricalCyber has been launched in Guernsey to help business leaders better understand and manage cyber risk.

The business has been set up by former Investec Bank Chief Operating Officer and Chief Risk Officer Rudi Le Roux, along with business consultant Kyan Frith.

Working with C-suite leaders, IT professionals and board members, CentricalCyber analyses a business’s significant cyber risks to raise awareness and manage the potential impact on the business.

Rudi Le Roux said: "I understand the trials and tribulations that go along with being responsible for managing risk within the constraints of a company, and feeling overwhelmed by the number of tools needed to safeguard the business. We want to guide people rather than just sell solutions and software."

Kyan Frith added: "Too often cybersecurity is seen as an IT-only issue, rather than viewed within the context of broader operational risk. We take that wider view, managing risk in a holistic manner."
