Julian-Box_CalligoEnd-to-end managed data services provider Calligo has acquired Cinnte Technologies, an Ireland-based IT managed services provider specialising in managed IT, cloud and security services. The value of the deal has not been disclosed.

This marks Calligo’s eighth acquisition in three years, and its third in Ireland in 2020. In January, it acquired Dublin-based DC Networks and Dublin and Cork-based Itomic Voice & Data.

The acquisition of Cinnte, which has offices in Cavan and Dublin, adds to Calligo’s position as one of Ireland’s largest IT managed services providers in terms of resources, market share and breadth of service.

All of Cinnte's staff, including MD Danny Barr and its senior management, will transfer to Calligo, and the firm will rebrand to Calligo.

“Cinnte Technologies was an ideal fit for the next step in our Irish expansion,” commented Julian Box (pictured), Founder and CEO of Calligo. “The Cinnte Technologies team has done a great job keeping its clients’ data continuously available and secure, and we will supplement our local resources with their skills.

“We intend to help Cinnte Technologies’ clients, offering broader data safety through our governance and privacy services, and greater insight into their data with our automation and machine learning services.”
