Brexit on agenda at STEP Jersey annual conference

The keynote address at this year’s STEP Jersey Annual Conference, the branch’s 25th, will be delivered by the Director of the Channel Islands’ Brussels Office (CIBO), Steve Williams. His talk is entitled ‘The Channel Islands and the EU: a mid-Brexit Snapshot’.

Other topics to be covered at the all-day event on Thursday 2 November will include: 
• A look forward to 2018
• An offshore trust law round-up
• Non-dom changes
• Regulatory update
• Latest news on the transparency agenda
• Wealth structuring for international families.

The agenda will also include two panel sessions, one covering current hot topics for trustees – data protection, cyber security and trust and company registers – and the other looking at planning for the next generation.
