Appleby has appointed Andrew Jowett as a Group Partner within its Corporate Practice Group in Jersey.
Andrew has worked for Appleby in the British Virgin Islands since 2011. Prior to this, he spent three years with Ogier in the BVI.
He has extensive experience in corporate, banking and finance, and capital markets transactions, with an emphasis on clients in the mining, oil and gas, energy and natural resources sectors.
Andrew has advised clients ranging from blue-chip listed companies to small private companies on a wide range of matters – multi-jurisdictional mergers and acquisitions, public takeovers, IPOs, private placements, corporate reorganisations, joint venture arrangements, continuations, voluntary liquidations, shareholder rights, corporate governance and director duties.
