Channel Islands facilities management company AFM has appointed Mark Powell as Commercial Manager, based in Guernsey.
Mark brings to the role over 20 years of director-level experience in the UK facilities management industry. He joins AFM from SPIE UK, a provider of hard facilities management and maintenance services, where he was Head of Business Development.
In his new role, Mark will be responsible for developing business opportunities, including the launch of new services. He will also work on the development of bespoke solutions that support clients’ business.
During his career, Mark has introduced facilities management accounts for Waterstones, Selfridges and Cineworld. He has also worked on the client side, having operated the Estates Management Company for Stockley Park near Heathrow.
